Young Adult Ministries
The young adults here at First Baptist are an enthusiastic and exciting
group of folks who love to learn and serve. It is a unified group
made up of people from all life situations and backgrounds…married,
single, divorced, parents, non-parents, you name it.
The YAC (Young Adult Class) meets on Sunday mornings at two different times. One group meets at 9:45 and attends the traditional worship service at 11:00, and the other group meets at 11:00 after attending the conneXion gathering (our alternative/contemporary worship service) at 9:45. The age range of the group is approximately 19-35.
Our young adults have participated in a wide variety of activities together – anything from Derby parties to camping to mission & service ventures. Some of our young adults were also instrumental in planning and launching the conneXion gathering, our alternative/contemporary worship service.
